PostHeaderIcon McD's For Breakfast

Cheese melt wedges. Probably the nicest thing McD's have ever created, and currently available as part of their Festive Menu. Absolutely delicious as part of a not-so-nutritious breakfast.

We got McD's for dinner on Thursday. The kids, as usual, not interested in the happy meals we got for them, and there were no milkshakes. Again. I don't like to complain, but what the hell is the point of having something on the menu, if you have no intention of selling it? Is it so hard to make a bloody banana milkshake? The After Eight McFlurrys are nice though. Really scrummy. Especially when you break actual After Eights into them.

It's the Garrison Christmas Fair today, which should be fun. I suppose it's only fair to take the kids to see Santa, despite my hatred of the commercialisation of the season. It's not even snowing. Why isn't it snowing? It should be. I hate snow. It's vile, nasty stuff, and should be banned, but until someone finds a way to ban it, it could at least have the decency to do whaat it's supposed to do and fall in December.

Bill found my jumper. It's my favourite jumper; big, thick, woolly and warm, but after I washed it, it disappeared. Turns out Kayleigh had hidden it behind her bed, the little weirdo. But I have it back, so I won't have to trash the house while trying to find it.

Scott and Hermione seem to have some odd stomach bug that makes them throw up. But not during the day like sensible people. No, they couldn't be that helpful. They throw up in their beds, which isn't very nice, but at least it's not all over their rooms. I think Scott's sickiness is due to the massive growth spurt he seems to be going through at the moment, but Herm's still as small as ever, so I don't know what it is with her. Maybe they have Pig Flu?
